Maintenance of gardens and green spaces

The maintenance of the gardens, especially the care of the green surface (grass), is considered necessary to highlight the aesthetic aspects, the artistic forms and the basic purposes for which the garden was established, which is to feel the comfort of the nerves, calm the soul and relax with its views, as well as to purify the environment from dust, reduce air pollution and reduce air temperature.
Therefore, we in Alex Group are keen to provide the best practical programs and actual solutions to preserve the garden and show the best of its shapes and artistic paintings.

Green flat maintenance operations (grass):-

1- Irrigation:
Where the surface is irrigated abundantly and at frequent intervals at the beginning of the cultivation

The amount of water needed to irrigate the green area depends on:
Soil type - type of grass sown - prevailing temperature - irrigation method used

Irrigation dates: -
The surface is watered in the early morning or evening to avoid the sun's heat, which reduces the water absorption by the roots.

Irrigation periods: -

A) The first period:
The winter months include November, December, January and February, and the flat is irrigated once a week.

B) The second period:
It includes the months of September, October, March and April, when temperatures are moderate and the surface is irrigated once every 2-3 days.

C) The third period:
The summer months include May, June, July and August, during which the flat is irrigated daily, and it increases to two or three times a day when the temperatures rise.

2 - Shearing:
It is considered one of the most important periodic maintenance operations that the flatbed needs, and it is necessary to maintain the desired shape of the surface and encourage branching and spreading plants horizontally and increasing their density.
Before the cutting process, the following must be done:
1- Weapons are sharp
2- The surface should be dry
3- Remove stones and pebbles

Fertilization: -
The grass needs adequate fertilization due to the continuous mowing operations, as it affects the color intensity, the ability of the plant to resist diseases and its tolerance to heat, drought and cold. Nitrogen, potassium and magnesium are needed in large quantities and trace elements such as iron and zinc, which you need in small quantities.
Fertilizer addition methods: -
We sprinkle the green surface in appropriate quantities in the morning after the cutting process, and the surface is irrigated afterwards to ensure that the fertilizer is dissolved.
Fertilizer addition dates: -
The first batch, in the summer and in the winter, increases the amount of superphosphate fertilization
Removal of exotic weeds: -
Exotic weeds must be removed periodically from the flat so as not to crowd the grass in the food, change the shape of the surface and cause its decay.
Resistance to insect pests and fungal diseases: -
The litter must be sprayed periodically to prevent insects that live under the surface of the soil and that feed on the roots, or biting insects that feed at night on leaves or sucking insects that feed on plant sap
As well as resistance to fungal and bacterial diseases and nematodes that appear as a result of excessive moisture or drought and cause brown spots on the surface
The boundaries work program:
It is considered one of the important operations to show the surface aesthetically, as it is done by making a separation between the green surface and shrubs or hedges, trees and palms, with the work of scribbling the soil in the joints, using the splint or an ax.
Park maintenance programs:
1 - Cut the green flat to the correct level
2- Clove trees, fences and shrubs
3 - Rotating the trees of shapes (hierarchical - spherical - cylindrical - spiral - conical - names ... etc.)
4- Periodic fertilization of the garden at the required rates
5 - Spraying against insects and fungal diseases
6 - Setting the boundaries and separators
7 - Collect papers
